Cornelius Van Baerle is researcher of tulip. He devotes enthusiasm to growing a black tulip because President of the Flower Society announced that a peason who grows a black tulip is paid a lot of money. However he is sentenced the death penalty because he kept a letter from Wit brothers, who were persons in the position of power. While he is in prison, he becomes loving Rosa, who is a daughter of guard. And they grow bulb of black tulip but both of tulip are crushed and stolen...Let's try to read!
